This 300 years old listed building has been sympathetically restored and adapted to make a comfortable family home & Bed and Breakfast accommodation.  Uniquely The Midstay has been left open to create a stunning covered courtyard. The Barn is surrounded by well stocked landscaped gardens.

Orchard Barn is situated in the picturesque village of Worth, less than 2 miles from the centre of the ancient Cinque Port of Sandwich, famous for its medieval architecture, and within 10 minutes drive of the quaint seaside town of Deal, where fishing boats are still pulled up on the pebble beach.

The Bed and Breakfast is situated in easily accessable from London, making ita great place for a get away weekend.Terrace

There is a wide choice of good local pubs and restaurants close by, and the Cathedral City of Canterbury, with its extensive shopping centre is approximately 12 miles away.

Local Attractions:

  • A wealth of excellent golf courses all within easy access.  Including 3 championship links courses at Royal St Georges, Princes and Royal Cinque Ports. 
  • White Cliff’s country, with castles at Dover, Walmer and Deal.  Also there are Roman fortifications at Richborough.
  • Canterbury Cathedral, where Thomas Beckett was martyred and the destination for Chaucer’s pilgrims.
  • Enjoy nearby Goodnestone Park Gardens where Jane Austen was a frequent visitor.
  • Good walks and cycle routes and bird observatories on the salt marshes at Pegwell Bay and at Sandwich. 

The ferry terminal at Dover is within 20 minutes drive, also making Orchard Barn an ideal stop over for cross channel travellers.
